1. Strict SVG Upload Restriction
SVG (Scalable Vector Graphics) uploads are strictly prohibited on ConvertXLab. Because SVG files use XML-based markup, they present significant security risks. These include XML External Entity (XXE) injection attacks, Billion Laughs denial of service exploits, and server-side request forgery (SSRF). To mitigate these threats, our file validation middleware and FastAPI backend engines automatically reject any file with an SVG MIME type or signature. Attempting to mask or rename SVG extensions is a violation of this policy.
2. Resource Management & Rate Limiting
Users must access our resources fairly. You must not attempt to bypass our express-rate-limit middleware (400 requests per 15 minutes per IP on Node proxy) or FastAPI rate limiters. Automated scraping of our site elements or API paths is prohibited. Running load testing tools or denial of service campaigns is a violation of this policy.
3. Content and File Standards
You may not upload, submit, or convert files containing viruses, Trojans, worms, or malicious payloads. Converting content that infringes upon third-party copyright, trademark, or privacy rights is prohibited.
4. Policy Enforcement
We monitor access metrics to protect our network. Violations may lead to the revocation of API keys, deletion of property configurations from MongoDB, and blocking of source IP addresses.
